00:00Putting the fuel on and it will be starting up basically.
00:17Firstly we departed the Jebel Ali marina here, we taxied out towards the Jebel Ali port,
00:24we got our clearance from ATC and we departed towards the west and then we started a nice
00:28curving left turn to climb over the top of the Jebel Ali palm.
00:33We climbed to about 2,000 feet, nice smooth conditions, we headed northbound up the coast
00:38towards Dubai.
00:40First thing we saw was the Jebel Ali port underneath us extending out towards where
00:44the cranes are.
00:45We headed past that, past Ibn Battuta Discovery Gardens and then we started into the Dubai
00:49marina area.
00:50We had Dubai marina and Jumeirah Lakes Towers on the left as we went past Jumeirah Palm
00:55and then we approached the Burj Al Arab 7 star resort and we just turned over the top
00:59of that then to the right and headed towards the world which we saw about two minutes later.
01:04Just east of the world we saw the Antarctica and basically the whole world laid out to
01:08the left.
01:09Very good visibility today.
01:10And then we started a gradual right turn towards the Burj Khalifa which we saw coming up on
01:14the right hand side.
01:15Burj Khalifa looked really nice today, nice and clear conditions, it's up to about 2,700
01:20feet.
01:21We did a nice left turn over the top of the flagpole and just south of the dry docks area
01:25where Port Rashid is.
01:27Basically the return route was much the same as the way up and we saw the Burj Al Arab
01:30on the left hand side as we turned southeast and then Jumeirah Palm again on our right
01:35hand side as we worked our way southbound.
01:37We started a descent over the Jebel Ali port and we saw again another look at the Jebel
01:42Ali Palm as we started our descent into the resort here as we went past it to the south
01:47and then turned northbound for a northbound landing.
