Turkiye aims to increase its trade with Malaysia to US$10bil a year, says President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Speaking at a public lecture at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on Monday (Feb 10), Erdogan said Turkiye also aims to develop its relations with Malaysia based on a vision of technological cooperation and joint production.

00:31Erdogan also emphasised enhancing cooperation across various sectors, particularly aviation
00:37and defence.
00:38He highlighted Malaysia's operation of Turkey's second-largest airport and praised Turkish
00:42Aerospace Industries Malaysia for employing over 100 young Malaysian engineers.
00:49Additionally, he cited joint defence projects, including Littoral Missionships and ANKA unmanned
00:56aerial vehicles, UAVs.
01:00Earlier, University Malaya conferred an honorary doctorate in International Relations on Erdogan
01:05for his contributions to global diplomacy and international negotiations.
01:10Erdogan is in Malaysia for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister
