00:28convocation ceremony attended by Prime Minister Datuk Shri Anwar Ibrahim, Higher Education
00:34Minister Datuk Shri Dr Zamri Abdulkadir, and several cabinet members.
00:40In his acceptance speech, Erdogan said he was deeply honoured to be conferred the prestigious
00:44award, calling it a catalyst for strengthening bilateral ties between Malaysia and Turkey.
00:50Meanwhile, UM Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Shri Dr Nur Azuan Abu Osman reaffirmed the
00:57university's commitment to fostering global excellence through international collaboration,
01:02strong diplomatic ties, and the preservation of universal values and ethics.
01:07Erdogan arrived in Malaysia on Monday for a two-day official visit at the invitation
01:12of the Prime Minister.
