00:00Offensively and defensively, and I'm just gonna continue to play hard, so.
00:05Carson, two close games in a row out there.
00:07Do you guys feel you can benefit from just learning how to play in that kind of game
00:12situation?
00:12Yeah, I mean, sure, I mean, I think we can learn from everything,
00:15all the games we've played against.
00:16I don't think this is any different.
00:18I just think right now, we kind of saw what happens when we do slip.
00:23And I think right now, we've gotta learn, the biggest thing for us is we've gotta
00:26learn how to diminish that and minimize that as much as we can.
00:31What are some of the things that might be learned after you kind of get pushed into
00:35offensive style all season, when, as far as you've been around?
00:38Yeah, I think right now, you just gotta figure out who our leaders are and
00:43figure out how players deal with adversity.
00:45Some guys handle it differently.
00:47So for me as a leader and as an upperclassman, I gotta continue to do my
00:51job to lead the younger guys and some of the guys that aren't as experienced and
00:56haven't been through this as much, just to continue to get them to play at a high
01:00level and not get too caught up in the last game or when they're not playing as well.
01:06Is it a relief to come home after being 2,000 something miles away for a while?
01:10Yeah, yeah, for sure.
01:11I think we kinda, I think everyone kinda got a good sense of comfort,
01:15kinda back, you're back home, you're back in a good routine with everything.
01:18You're able to have all the access to stuff you had beforehand, so
01:21it's good to be back.
01:22When you guys dominate them on the boards like you did,
01:26does it stain even more so to essentially throw those opportunities away as many
01:31times as you can?
01:34Yeah, I mean, it's nice that we did that well, for sure,
01:36especially coming from the USC game, where we didn't rebound as well.
01:41But then it just kinda exploits the other numbers that we didn't do as much,
01:45with the turnovers and giving up blocks and stuff like that.
01:47I think it just opens eyes to that, as well as showing that, I mean,
01:53coach is happy that we competed and all that, but showing that we've got to do
01:57the other things right, not just that, so.
02:00Carson, looking ahead to Oregon, third new Big Ten team in a row.
02:05Can you just talk about what's that like, scouting one of those new teams?
02:09And what do you see from that specifically?
02:11Yeah, I mean, I think, so for the forwards, I think the big thing that we're kinda
02:15noticing is, they got a lot more mobile guys that are playing the four and
02:18five position.
02:20We got another five minutes coming in, I can shoot it, and
02:22any construction floor and all that.
02:24So for us, we've gotta be able to adapt to that and
02:27figure out how we can be efficient guarding them,
02:29even though it's a different kind of player.
02:32And I think that we kinda got a good taste of that in UCLA and
02:35USC, too, because they both had players that were kinda the same type of athlete.
02:39So.
02:40Thanks, guys, I appreciate it.
02:41Thanks, guys.
