Every Royal Caribbean ship except one has a variation of its popular British pub.

00:00Good afternoon from Voyager the Seas. I am Dan Klein, executive editor of Come
00:05Cruise With Me, that is comecruisewith.com. I am joined today by our
00:09travel agent partner Dennis Post. Dennis works with his wife Amy at Postcard
00:14Travel Planning. They handle all of our booking needs. They can get you some
00:17great prices. But we are coming to you today from pretty much my favorite place
00:21on cruise ships. We are at the Kask and Clipper Pub. All of the
00:27Royal Caribbean ships, with the exception of one, have a pub. And what I
00:30like about the pub is two things. One, there's an acoustic guitarist who plays
00:34here every night. And universally, they're almost all spectacular. We got to see the
00:39wonderful Ellie Finnerty on Wonder of the Seas a couple weeks ago. Amazing. The
00:43gentleman on here is really good. So live acoustic music, everything from like
00:47Springsteen to Taylor Swift to older stuff to country. But that's not why
00:50we're here. The other thing they have at Kask and Clipper and the pub is they
00:54have a sort of bespoke menu. A lot of Royal Caribbean bars just kind of have
00:58the pool menu. This actually has a pub menu. It's whiskey, gin, and beer
01:02heavy. And this is where one of my favorite drinks on the ship is. This is a
01:06Buffalo Manhattan. Now there's nothing crazy about this. This is Buffalo Trace, a
01:11little bit of vermouth. More vermouth if you're not me, but I'm not a giant fan of
01:15vermouth. And then Angostura Bitters. So just a really simple classic drink.
01:20Dennis probably would be drinking this too as well. Yeah. But I made him make a
01:24different choice. So Dennis, what are you drinking? I'm drinking the Pirate in a
01:27Coconut Tree, which this has got two different rums in it, coconut milk. You
01:33can see the rim of the glass is covered in coconut. A couple other things, a
01:37little simple syrup, coconut water. Great, great drink. So cheers. Cheers. So we're
01:44at the pub on Voyager of the Seas. There are lots of other things if you are, if
01:48you're not a whiskey or gin person, this may not be the bar for you. There are not
01:51a lot of fruity drinks here. We will be back all over the ship. I am Dan Klein.
