00:50So Tom's already Philly's sworn enemy on U.S. soil.
00:54Is he enemy number one across the pond now, too?
00:56Not a sworn enemy. We got evacuated from our house.
01:00I said to the kids, you know, guys, we're not in imminent danger,
01:03but you just got to grab anything that's important to you, that has sentimental value.
01:08Don't worry about anything else, and we're just going to leave.
01:12So we got the pets, and we got the passports, and we're good.
01:16And my son's got this little bag, and in the bag he's got two things.
01:19One of them was a signed football by all of the Eagles that Big Dom, the security guy,
01:26actually tossed to me at the Eagles-Rams game from two years ago.
01:31And the other thing, and that felt good.
01:33Then my heart was, like, grew ten sizes too big.
01:37Then the second thing, the only other thing he had in there was a signed Tom Brady football card.
01:44And I was, I was, my heart, it almost exploded, because it, it, like, really actually, like, broke my heart
01:53that this kid, of all the things, he would take Brady's card? Really?
01:59But I texted that to Tom, and he loved it, and of course was kind enough to then send a video back to him.
02:05And I just thought that was really beautiful.
02:09Mythic Quest Season 4, we are so back.
02:12How daunting is it, though, to release new episodes after making fans wait two years?
02:17Yeah, terrifying.
02:19Obviously, the strike didn't help things.
02:22Especially younger people seem to think that Sonny was a hit, like, always a hit,
02:26because it was a show that was always on.
02:28I mean, I have people on my writing staff who weren't born when Sonny first came out,
02:32or weren't, at least weren't allowed to watch it when it first came out.
02:35And they, in their minds, they're like, oh, it's that show that's always on,
02:38and it's always been successful, and it's not true.
02:40Sonny, nobody watched Sonny for the first six years.
02:44It just needed to find that right moment to hit the cultural zeitgeist,
02:50and the right support behind it at FX to continue to make it, even though nobody was watching it.
02:55And it was because they believed that that moment was going to happen.
02:58And I believe that that's what's happening with Apple as well.
03:06What the hell are they doing?
03:09I heard Mythiquest described as, it's always Sonny if they actually got work done.
03:14You really have a knack for gathering a cast of characters.
03:17What is it that you see in someone that tells you, yeah, this person has comedic potential?
03:22You have to get somebody in a room and see if they're going to play well off of one another.
03:27The truth is that Charlotte was cast in a different role in season one,
03:33not Poppy, and Poppy was a completely different character.
03:36I just had a feeling about her, and I thought we would work really well together,
03:41and I don't know why.
03:42I mean, we got along really well, but you get along with lots of people.
03:45It doesn't necessarily mean you're going to feel any kind of comedic chemistry on screen.
03:49I just had a feeling with her.
03:51We quickly rewrote, just so we could get an offer out to her,
03:56we rewrote the entire pilot to change the characters of Poppy
04:01and create the character of Joe,
04:03because we have this incredible team who has all this experience
04:08recognizing how people are going to work well together.
