00:04It was just announced for the first time ever that the price of Global Entry is going up.
00:07Starting on October 1st, 2024, the fee is going to increase from $100 to $120,
00:12but there's good news for families.
00:14For travelers under the age of 18, Global Entry will be free after October 1st,
00:18so long as a parent is already a member.
00:20Under 18s are still going to need to submit an application and complete an interview,
00:23but starting this fall, they will no longer need to pay the Global Entry membership fee.
00:26So if you were thinking about signing up your child or teen for a membership,
00:30be sure to wait until October 1st, 2024 to do so if you want to save money.
