00:00The increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, or LPG, occurred in the beginning of February,

00:06while the price of other petroleum products decreased in the meantime.

00:11This is what Isaiah Mirafuentes reported.

00:16Father Ray has been working as a jeepney driver for four decades.

00:20He still remembers that the price of crude oil was only 7 pesos per liter at that time.

00:25That's why he was fascinated by the rapid increase in the price of petroleum products.

00:29But the decrease was slow.

00:42He earns 400 pesos a day, and he works hard for his family.

00:47It's not enough. My son only earns a thousand pesos a day.

00:50That's what I earn.

00:52I'm happy when there's no income.

00:55When there's no class.

00:57So, in order to earn more money, he also works as a sideliner as a barker.

01:02That's why he's happy whenever the price of crude oil decreases

01:05because no matter what, his fatigue from working is reduced.

01:09Next week, it's expected that the price of diesel will decrease from 1.30 pesos to 1.60 pesos,

01:17and that the price of kerosene will decrease from 85 cents to 1 peso.

01:23But hopefully, this will continue.

01:26I'm happy because it's not decreasing.

01:29Sometimes, when the price of kerosene decreases, the price of petroleum increases.

01:33That's the problem because when the price of petroleum decreases,

01:36the price of petroleum increases.

01:38But the price of gasoline is expected to increase from 40 cents to 70 cents.

01:45Aside from that, right now, on the first day of the month of love, the price of LPG will increase.

01:51So, on the first day of the month of love, the line must immediately be tightened.

01:56In addition to some companies of crude oil, the price of LPG increases by 70 cents per kilo.

02:02That's equivalent to almost 8 pesos per 11 kilos of LPG tank.
