00:00P.U.V. drivers will receive additional income from the implementation of the service contracting program in the Ilocos region.
00:06This is what Verna Beltran of Radyo Pilipinas, Dagupan, reported.
00:13The service contracting program is very good. It helps us in our daily life because of our difficult past.
00:19Troy is the only P.U.V. driver who is expected to benefit from the implementation of the service contracting program
00:28of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in the Ilocos region.
00:32The driver will receive 20 pesos per kilometer of income.
00:39In a statement by Radyo Pilipinas, Dagupan, LTFRB Region 1 Director Crystal Sibayan confirmed
00:46that the program for the first batch will start on February 16,
00:51while the second batch will start on March 2 after the orientation of the transport group in the region.
00:58As early as next week, we will go to the LGUs where there are also participants
01:07so that we can sign a contract here in the service contracting program.
