00:00On Vaughn, so to follow up, thanks Joe for this, on the follow-up about PFF grades,
00:06Vaughn did not have a bad year according to them. He was their highest rated defensive end.
00:13Now he didn't play that much, right? He played very specific third downs. He had limited snaps
00:21and I wonder if Vaughn is a definite he's gonna go. They can save eight million on the cap if they
00:29cut him, but there is a restructure. Yeah. They can save 10 million if they restructure properly
00:36and listen, if they think his veteran presence is good enough, his comment was he wants to come
00:42back and he said as long as his key card works, he's gonna come back. He wants to come back.
00:49So if they think veteran presence, hall of fame defensive end, hall of fame edge guy,
00:56and we're gonna draft some young kids and we can save 10 if we restructure. And I know that
01:01pushing salary cap stuff down the road because of restructures is generally viewed as, well,
01:07you're gonna have to pay that price eventually. That's true. Every year the cap goes up like 40
01:11million dollars. So an eight million dollar cap hit this year and a 10 million dollar cap hit next
01:18year are like the same. There's inflation with everything. Inflation with receiver salaries,
01:24inflation with quarterback salaries. So it's kind of the spot where, wow, the biggest dead
01:31cap hit in league history. That's right. That's gonna continue to happen with more and more
01:35players when they get bought out. So I think Vaughn could be a restructure candidate.
01:40I'm actually stunned to see, like you just mentioned the grade. The thing I trust the
01:46most when it comes to pass rushers, the number that I like the most is the pass rush win rate
01:50number. He had an 18.4% win rate this year. Vaughn did. That was eighth best in football.
01:58He doesn't play a lot. So if they get him in obvious pass rushing situations can keep him
02:03on the team. If they think he had, he had 249 rushes. I mean, the guys in front of them,
02:08445, 344 though, like there's other guys in here that are around the same, like,
02:13you know, but, but right. Bryce Huff, you mentioned him yesterday, right? He needs a contract. He only
02:17had 189 rushes on the year and he had a lower win rate than Vaughn did. So Vaughn, man, like
02:23that's an efficient, way more efficient than it felt like.
