00:18The Prime Minister accepted an invitation from European Council President Antonio Costa

00:23back in December, and Downing Street said he looked forward to discussing enhanced strategic

00:28cooperation with the EU, notably on defence.

00:33Bradford is in the spotlight again this week, as its City of Culture year continues.

00:38The Bradford premiere of the new BBC crime thriller Verdi is set to take place this Thursday.

00:43The show is set and filmed in the city, and it tells the story of Detective Harry Verdi,

00:48a dedicated cop estranged from his Sikh family after marrying a Muslim woman.

00:54Author A.A. Darned adapted the six-part series based on his best-selling novels for the screen,

01:00and he will be amongst those at the exclusive screening on February 6th, along with key

01:06members of the cast.

01:08And finally, British veterans and servant personnel who were injured during service

01:13are taking part in the 2025 Invictus Games.

01:17The seventh edition of the Games, which begins in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, will bring

01:21together more than 500 competitors from 23 nations, and is the first to include winter sports.

01:28The Royal British Legion and the Ministry of Defence have been supporting Team UK through their training.
