00:00May 22, the authorities seized Php 108 million in Gitoohang, Shabu.

00:12It was due to a bypass operation in Purukulo, Barangay Santa Irene, Bayugan City on January 27, 2020.

00:20The authorities were unable to recover the 16 kilos in Gitoohang, Shabu.

00:26We consider this to be one of the largest quantities of drugs seized by the authorities in the region.

00:33The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Region 13,

00:37said that the entire operation was a result of a breach of trust between the government and the community

00:43that had a stake in the illegal use of the drugs.

00:48It was also a result of a breach of trust in the Republic Act No. 9165,

00:53or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,

00:56involving the individuals involved in the operation.

01:01The Department of Health did not favor the investigation into the case of Baby Switching,

01:09which took place in Davao Oriental, Provincial Medical Center in Mati City, Davao Oriental.

01:15DOH Undersecretary and Regional Director of DOH Region 11, Dr. Abdulla Dumama,

01:22also joined the Fact-Finding Committee
