00:00At this point, we will discuss an update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Go.

00:21First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is in jail with his cabinet members for the 24th National Economic and Development Authority Board Meeting in Palacio Punang, Malacanang.

00:35The Philippine Development Report or PDR 2024 was discussed in the court.

00:40The PDR 2024 provides progress on key areas such as economic transformation, food and water security, social development, environmental protection, peace and order, national security, digital transformation, and good governance.

01:00In terms of assistance, our President said that it is important for the success of the government to reach the public, particularly those that have a direct impact on ordinary Filipinos.

01:14The President also emphasized that although major structural reforms and projects will take a long time to complete, it is still important to explain the progress and long-term benefits of the current government programs.

01:29Meanwhile, the President asked for a comprehensive review of the government's programs to ensure food security for the benefit of every Filipino.

01:38In terms of assistance, NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan gave a statement that it is necessary to avoid complacency.

01:46He also emphasized the ambitious targets for 2025, such as a gross domestic product growth rate of 6 to 8 percent, the maintenance of headline inflation of 2 to 4 percent, and the reduction of poverty incidence to below 13.2 percent this year at 9 percent by 2028.

02:03The Administration wants to sustain our economic growth by continuously assisting the Congress on development priorities, strengthening fiscal programs, and institutionalizing regular monitoring, evaluation, and integration in the budgeting and planning process.
