00:00how appropriate that the next fixture is away to Burnley.
00:04Of course, the other teams have defeated Leeds at Elm Road this season.
00:07It was a 1-0 loss back in the early part of the season.
00:10And to be fair, Leeds, it was one of those games where they probably should have got more out of it.
00:14So the chances that they missed in that one, but going to Turf Moor,
00:18it's going to be difficult for Leeds because, you know, Burnley have, what is it,
00:21nine goals they've conceded all season,
00:23which is quite remarkable at this point of the campaign.
00:27But if anyone's going to test that, it would and probably should be Leeds, to be honest.
00:33I mean, Sunderland nearly did, of course, in their fixture at Turf Moor, just gone.
00:38But Leeds, you'd think that Leeds have improved certainly since the last time the two sides met.
00:43And you'd think going into this one, this is a really big chance for Leeds to go
00:47and create a bigger gap between the two sides.
00:50And then you think, well, does that take Burnley out of the equation a little bit?
00:53If you create that gap a little bit to the automatic promotion,
00:56which, well, it certainly would be very welcome, wouldn't it?
01:00Yeah, I mean, obviously, that's the dream scenario. Go there and get the victory.
01:03And then it'd be, what would it be, a six-point gap of 17 games to go?
01:06I mean, which is still a long way to go.
01:09But obviously, you know, six points plus the better goal difference when Leeds,
01:13you know, in such words, aren't dropping points, you know, dramatically.
01:16I mean, they're basically winning most weekends or midweek.
01:19And when they're not, they're getting draws. So that would be a big gap.
01:22I think first and foremost thing for Leeds is go there and don't get beat.
01:25You know, that's the first thing.
01:26That's not to say that they're going to go there and play for a draw.
01:29I mean, that's not the case.
01:29You know what I mean? Like Daniel Farke has always said,
01:31Leeds want to be a protagonist and fully expect them to go for it.
01:34It's a really, really hard one to call this.
01:36I just wouldn't know. Or sometimes you get a gut feeling about,
01:39you know, what the result might be. But I mean, my first instincts
01:42when this fixture was coming around was I thought it'd be a goalless draw,
01:46to be honest, because, I mean, you talk about Burnley's,
01:48you know, not conceding many goals. And obviously the last two games at home
01:51have both been nil-nil, albeit you mentioned the Sunderland drama
01:53at the end in that one as well. But I mean, after seeing them score five
01:57in midweek, albeit against, you know, a not very good Plymouth side,
02:00I mean, you know, like, I mean, could you really see it being nil-nil?
02:03I don't know. It's a very, very hard one to call.
02:06It's staggering, like you say, the fact they've only conceded nine goals.
02:09I mean, that is an absolutely amazing stat. And obviously,
02:11they've only conceded four, I think it is, at home.
02:13So, I mean, if Leeds even go there and score, they're doing well,
02:16never mind anything else. But there's always been a little bit of a sort of belief,
02:20I think, amongst a lot of people that, you know, even though it's tight at the top,
02:23you know, even opposition managers, not the ones necessarily involved in the title race,
02:27have sort of said, you know, that there's a feeling that Leeds are actually,
02:30you know, a fair bit better than the rest and stuff.
02:32And if that's the case, it remains to be seen.
02:35But what I would say is that if that is the case,
02:38and you obviously just can't judge it on one game,
02:39then we'll definitely see in this game, won't we?
02:41You know, I mean, it honestly could be anything.
02:43It really could. Leeds could go there and, you know, prove much, much better and,
02:47you know, just go and get, you know, a really, really good, handsome win.
02:50It could be, like I say, like a real, like, cagey affair at a draw or something,
02:53or Burnley could come flying out the traps and,
02:55you know, and end up condemning Leeds for another away defeat.
02:58So, so difficult to call.
