00:18Angelique, in the presence of DEPEDD Secretary Sonny Angara, the accomplishments of DEPEDD Secretary Sonny Angara are being shared with us for 2024.

00:30According to the Department of Education, P100,000 was earmarked for their expanded career, progression.

00:37At the same time, President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr. is ordering salary standardization, where P30,000 per year was increased for teachers.

00:45Angelique Angara also emphasized their efforts to strengthen access to education or what they call Alternative Learning System or ALS

00:53for those who are having a hard time reaching or those who want to return to education.

00:57When it comes to addressing the shortcomings of their studies,

01:00DEPEDD is currently promoting the Public-Private Partnership for the Construction of more than 100,000 classrooms across the country within the terminal of President Marquez, Jr.

01:09where the government is positive to close the gap or the backlog in the shortcomings of their studies.

01:15Angelique, aside from these, the accomplishments of DEPEDD also include the full P20,000 SRI for the first time for more than 100,000 teaching and non-teaching personnel.
