00:07charged with misusing the halal logo on the sandwiches it supplied to KK Mart. Yu was

00:13charged under Section 4 Sub 1 of the Trade Descriptions Order 2011 with supplying 366

00:20sandwiches that were likely to mislead people into believing were halal. Shake and Bake,

00:25represented by Yu, was also slapped with six separate charges of the same offence.

00:30Both pleaded not guilty. Yu and Shake and Bake were also jointly charged with falsely

00:36applying a registered trademark to goods or services under Section 100 of the Trademarks Act

00:422019. The company faces a maximum RM15,000 fine for each product falsely stamped with the halal

00:49logo if convicted. Yu faces a maximum RM10,000 fine for every product falsely stamped with the
