Catholic devotees gathered on Friday, Jan. 24, to take part in the fluvial and solemn foot procession of the Santo Niño de Cebu image at Muelle Loney in Iloilo City.
This event is among the highlights of the Sto. Niño feast day celebrations and the 2025 Dinagyang Festival. The origins of the Dinagyang Festival trace back to late 1968, when an Augustinian priest gifted a replica of the Santo Niño de Cebu to another Augustinian priest in Iloilo as a birthday present.
