00:00Oklahoma City, they win against Utah. That's not a surprise.
00:03123 to 114. But another staple performance from SGA 54 points,
00:0917 of 35 shooting 17 from 18 of the free throw line. And right
00:15now this guy is playing on another world. In fact, I don't
00:18I mean, Gilbert, I know that Jokic and LeBron and some others
00:22and Embiid have won MVPs. I don't ever remember a such a
00:25heavy favorite in the NBA in January. It seems like as long
00:29as Oklahoma City just plays okay, the rest of the season,
00:32he's got the MVP locked up. It ain't even February yet. Right.
00:36It's pretty incredible, Craig. When you put it that way,
00:38especially thinking about the odds for him to win the award
00:41at this stage of the season and then to think about the fact
00:44that nobody would have ever predicted this to come when he
00:47was a late lottery pick some years ago and now he's in
00:50Oklahoma City and it's just transcending into superstar
00:53and right in front of our eyes to come up short for MVP last
00:56year and to somehow come back even better than he was last
01:00season. He's definitely on a mission to lead this team to
01:02new heights and also probably going to win MVP for the first
01:06time in his career. Just to think about the fact that he
01:09has scored 54 points last night. When we look back, this
01:12will be one of those MVP moments that we will accredit
01:15him winning the award to. It certainly seems like it's just
01:18a straight path from to win the award, especially if the
01:21Thunder were going to win 65 and maybe even 70 games that's
01:24still in play for them.
