Malaysia remains committed to engaging, collaborating, and communicating with all nations to address climate change-related challenges, according to Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
Speaking at the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) debrief session on Thursday (Jan 23), he highlighted the launch of Malaysia’s United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Participation Report at COP29, describing the event as a significant success.
Nik Nazmi also announced that Malaysia had successfully submitted its Biennial Transparency Report (BTR) to the UNFCCC on Dec 31, underscoring the country’s dedication to fulfilling its obligations under the Paris Agreement.
