00:00The Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, was also surprised when they edited and copied the blank pages of the 2025 General Appropriations Act.

00:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called a lie the reason why some blank pages were left in some parts of the 2025 National Budget.

00:51Because it's a lie.

00:53Recently, former President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao 3rd District Representative Isidro Ungab

01:00denied the discrepancy in the National Budget that is not complete to make a blank cheque that can be counted in the future.

01:09In the history of the whole Philippines, it is not allowed to have items that are not stated what the project is and what is the cost, what is the fund.

01:27President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao 3rd District Representative Isidro Ungab denied the public to look at the website of the Department of Budget and Management

01:33to prove that the information that was leaked is a lie.

01:38First, the palace decided to spread fake news or misinformation of Duterte that is malicious and should be condemned as a criminal act.

01:49Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that the Congress and the DBM studied more than 4,000 pages of the National Budget.

01:59He assured the government that there is no project, program, or activity that has no fund before passing and making a law.

02:08The palace called on Duterte's camp to be responsible for their actions and to avoid spreading misinformation.

02:18The DBM also denied that the blank pages were from the Becameral Conference Committee Report and not from the General Appropriations Bill.

02:28The agency also clarified that it is fake news and that it is not true that the DBM edited or changed the 2025 GAA to remove the blank pages.

02:41This was followed by the agency's system maintenance yesterday at just 1 AM until 1 AM earlier.

02:50The DBM's access to the website is far from being fast.

02:54You can see a copy of the 2025 GAA and National Expenditure Program on the DBM's website,

03:00which is the same as the one uploaded on January 3 and printed on the two corners of the Congress.

03:07The National Fund passed and made a law is complete.

03:11That is why the agency urged the public to be careful, watch out, and verify the information before spreading or sharing it on any platform.
