00:00This weekend, the various festivals for Santo Niño will be held.

00:05The dance in Tondo, Maydila and Sinulog in Cebu City, which is already on red alert, is one of the highlights.

00:19From Fuente Osmeña Rotonda in Cebu City to Basilica Minor del Santo Niño,

00:25devotees were able to see the sea early in the morning during the Penitential Walk with Mary,

00:30or procession of the patron saint of Cebu City, the beloved Virgin of Guadalupe.

00:35According to the police, more than 300,000 devotees attended.

00:39It was held on the last day of the 9-day novena for the Fiesta Señor celebration.

00:44When it came to the Basilica, the Misa de Traslacion was lifted

00:48before the Virgin of Guadalupe and the image of Señor Santo Niño were brought to the National Shrine in Mandaue City.

00:55According to the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office,

00:59Cebu City will be under the red alert status starting tomorrow,

01:03if and when the solemn food procession will be held,

01:06until Sunday for the celebration of the Sinulog Festival.

01:10The second oldest is at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Santo Niño, or Tondo Church in Maydila.

01:17This weekend is also their Fiesta.

01:20And among the preparations of some devotees is the Lakbayaw, or Lakbay Sayaw,

01:28a dance procession where the prayers to Señor Santo Niño are held.

01:33The original title of this activity is Caracol.

01:38This is the dance of people in Santo Niño,

01:42from the time of his arrival in the sea, when he was tired,

01:46until he was brought down here in Manila Bay.

01:50Because of the Fiesta of Santo Niño de Tondo,

01:52some streets around Tondo Church are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

01:57The Manila Police District is advising motorists to look for an alternative route.
