00:00The Philippines and China agreed to continue the previous provisional agreement for the rotation and resupply or raw remissions of the country in the BRP Sierra Madre.

00:11Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard is still closely monitoring the monster ship that is still illegally kept in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines.

00:21This is the story of Patrick de Jesus.

00:25Since July of last year, four consecutive rotation and resupply or raw remissions of the BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal have been successful.

00:36And there is no sign of harassment or untoward incident.

00:40Last December, when the Christmas packages were left, the troops stationed there, as well as the eight other copied features of the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea,

00:52during this time, the provisional agreement between the Philippines and China is still in progress when it comes to the rotation in Ayungin.

01:01In the 10th bilateral consultation mechanism held in Xiamen, Fujian, China on Thursday,

01:08led by Philippine Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Maria Teresa P. Lazaro and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Jian Xiaodong,

01:17the two recognized the good fruits of the provisional agreement on the raw remission of the BRP Sierra Madre.

01:24Therefore, they agreed to continue this for the de-escalation of tensions.

01:29But they still respect their own position.

01:33The Philippine government has ordered the maintenance of the remains of the monster ship of the China Coast Guard

01:41and other ships of the China Coast Guard to fight against the UNCLOS and the Philippine Maritime Zones Act,

01:47which is in accordance with the BCM, to strengthen the platform for the cooperation of the coast guards of the Philippines and China.

01:55The Philippine Coast Guard has guarded the monster ship inside our Exclusive Economic Zone for 13 days.

02:03To date, it is being guarded by BRP Gabriela Silang to maintain the 70 nautical miles distance of the so-called ship of China from the coastline of Zambales Province.

02:14The radio challenge continues.

02:18To avoid miscalculation, leave the area immediately and stay away from it. Over.

02:24You do not possess an illegal authority to patrol inside the Philippines Exclusive Economic Zone.

02:32You are directed to depart immediately.

02:35Do not defy us of your intentions.

02:38Your illegal activity will be reported to higher authorities.

02:42Some law enforcement officers have judged the progress of the PCG, even though our limitations are being tested.

02:51Our problem is we have an aggressive neighbor in the north.

02:54China is an aggressive neighbor.

02:56I think they're testing the limits and patience of our government and of course our Armed Forces of the Philippines, our Navy and our Coast Guard.

03:05We should practice prudence. We should practice restraint because we don't want this to escalate. We don't want chaos.

03:13What our Coast Guard is doing is right, they are guarding this monster ship.

03:21It's called shadowing.

03:23Senator JV Ejercito said that although he is hoping for the positive outcome of the bilateral talks,

03:30he also believes that the defense posture of the Philippines should be strengthened.
