00:00The Department of Trade and Industry, a small business corporation, launched financing programs to help MSMEs in the country.
00:10This is Quenzel Bocobo of IBC in Balitang Pambansa. Quenzel.
00:20Quenzel. Go ahead.
00:25These financing programs aim to help MSMEs in the country, led by DPI Secretary Cristina Roque and DPI SD Corp President Robert Castillo.
00:38The two programs were launched. This is the Business Expansion Loan and Purchase Order Financing Program.
00:45The Business Expansion Loan Program will provide funds to newly established businesses that are less than a year old.
00:53They can borrow up to Php 50,000 or Php 3,000,000 to expedite their expenses.
00:59This loan has no interest for a whole year, and has 1% monthly interest for the second year.
01:06The other program is called the Purchase Order Financing Program, which is for those in the sales industry.
01:13Here, businesses can borrow up to Php 30,000 or Php 20,000,000 to support the demand of their products.
01:22Its interest rate is only 1% per month.
01:25They need to show a receipt of three consummated purchases, or a total purchase of their stocks within three years.
01:34Aside from these two new programs, the agency also provided their ongoing financing programs,
01:40such as the Rehabilitation Fund for businesses that have been affected, Franchise Fund and others.
01:46According to Secretary Roque, they are continuing to create different loan programs so that our businessmen can see that there is an exact program that can help them and other businesses.
01:58For those who are interested, you can go to the agency's borrower registration system, brs.sbcorp.ph.
02:06That is the latest from DPI, Alan.
02:10Thank you very much Quenzel Bocobo of IBC.
