00:36Well, I think we're crying out for two key positions really.
00:39We're crying out for a real number six, a Rodri-esque if you like.
00:44We're never going to find a Rodri, but a Rodri-esque holding midfielder.
00:47I think that the system crumbles with Possekoglu when we don't have that real linchpin in the midfield.

01:01We've seen some real, real quality performances and you think, yeah, he's the answer.
01:04And then the next minute he goes off the boil.

01:10I mean, obviously, we've got this deal in place potentially next summer for Johnny Cardo.
01:13So from Real Betis, whether that could be accelerated remains to be seen.
01:18Obviously, tough market in January, but we're crying out for a number six.
01:22We need some support in that centre-back position as well.
01:25We've got Ben Davies coming back from injury.
01:27I don't think van der Ven and Romero are too far away either, but we're absolutely desperate.
01:32I mean, left-back, Jed Spence has been one of our better players in the last few weeks,
01:36but he's not a left-back.
01:37That was very, very obvious last night with Kinski with the ball at his feet,
01:41playing out to Archie Gray, out to Jed Spence.
01:43And the Arsenal players were targeting both Gray and Spence last night,
01:46really hemming us in in that corner.
01:47No natural left foot between the pair of them, not through no fault of their own.
01:52But it was definitely a tactic and it really, really stunted us going forward.
01:55So we lack the balance in the team on that left side at the moment.
02:00You know, and again, you go back to the summer.
02:02We went into the season with one available left-back.
02:05So we need to address the left-back position.
02:07We need depth at centre-back.
02:09Dragosin, I feel a little bit sorry for him.
02:11He's become a bit of a fan.
02:17What's the word? Fan target, if you like.
02:20But the fact remains, he's barely played with a recognised centre-back.
02:23You know, he's 22 years old.
02:25Yeah, he's not amazing with the ball at his feet,
02:27but he does the defending side of the game relatively well.
02:32And he's been playing a lot of football,
02:34probably more than we thought he would this season,
02:37without a great deal of support on that side and next to him.
02:39So I've got a little bit of sympathy there.
02:42As I say, defensive reinforcement is a must.
02:45Holding midfielder is the most crucial part of the jig.
02:48So in my opinion, that we're really missing to make the system work.
02:52And we need some more quality in those wide positions.
02:54You know, we lost Odebrecht, which was a blow, albeit he's a young player.
02:57Son just hasn't hit the heights this season.
02:59I know he scored against Arsenal, but he's been very, very poor this year.
03:03He looks a shadow of himself.
03:04You know, you may say his legs have gone a little bit or it looks that way.
03:09He plays a lot of football. He's been a fantastic player for Spurs.
03:12He's still a world-class player, but he's had a very, very poor season.
03:16Bernard Johnson, lots of goals, lots of assists, but 1v1, he doesn't do enough.
03:20You know, we're a bit one-dimensional at times,
03:24when sort of plan A doesn't work going forward.
03:26So a quality winger. We've been linked with Marcus Rashford.
03:29To be honest with you, I won't pay you to take Marcus Rashford at Spurs.
03:33I'm not a fan. Great player, but there's clearly baggage
03:37and there's clearly problems off the pitch for whatever reason at Manchester United.
03:40And you know, if you're leaving a club like Man United,
03:42albeit they're having a lot of problems at the moment.
03:45I'm not so sure about that one.
03:47And you know, in terms of outgoings, whether Timo Werner,
03:50you know, he's a bit of a curious case, isn't he, Werner?
03:54Shows flashes. He's got pace to burn,
03:56but mentally, he just looks like he's shot to pieces.
03:59I don't know whether the Chelsea experience really sort of affected him.
04:03You know, a couple of really high-profile misses,
04:05but you go back to when he was at Leipzig the first time round
04:08and he was a goal machine, wasn't he? Was it 37 goals in one season?
04:12He was absolutely prolific and he gets into those positions with his pace.
04:17But then, you know, for whatever reason, he just can't finish
04:20and you never have any confidence in him to finish and hit the target.
04:23So, but you know, whether he has his long cut short
04:27and we look to bring in another forward player, that remains to be seen.
04:30He's out now with a hamstring injury, so that might curtail that one.
04:33But yeah, we need Daniel Levy to get his hand in his pocket
04:37and bring us in some reinforcements
04:38and quickly as well before the season totally unravels.
