00:00Looking at the period coming up, they are in all four competitions still, Premier League
00:07fixtures against some relegation battlers, they obviously have Europa League kicking
00:12off again, then the EFL Cup semi-final away at Liverpool and then an FA Cup game as well.
00:20These next few weeks, it could be make or break for Ange Postakoglu. What's your thoughts
00:27going into these high-anticipated games? If this form continues, it might not be a very
00:34pretty picture when they come out on the back end of it.
00:37Yes, it's a defining period, no doubt about it. We are in woeful form in the league, as
00:43I say, 11 defeats this season so far already, just completely, completely unacceptable.
00:51Not known a season like this for a long, long time. Yes, we're in all Cup competitions,
00:55we've got a chance of getting to Wembley, that's going to be a tough semi-final, second
00:59leg at Anfield of course. We're through in the FA Cup, tough draw against Villa and I
01:03think we'll go through in Europe as well. But we've got to address the priority, which
01:06is the league form, because at the moment we're sliding closer and closer towards that
01:09relegation trapdoor. There's that old adage, you're too good to go down, but we've seen
01:15it before with teams, you're never too good. We are undoubtedly looking over our shoulders
01:20now. I don't think it's time to just hit the panic button quite yet, but it is definitely
01:25something that's starting to creep into certainly my mind as a long-suffering fan. We need some
01:31wins and we need them quickly. Everton's going to be tough at Goodison. We have got a very
01:35good record at Goodison Park actually, but you look at every game now and you just can't
01:40see us winning. I think that's the worrying thing. That's going to be really tough. We
01:45then have the Europa League kicking back off and we've got that Sunday-Thursday which we've
01:48struggled with all season because of the depth of the squad. Leicester at home, Sunday week
01:52is going to be a real, you call it a six-pointer. We really can't afford to lose that game.
01:58We have to start putting some distance now between us and the bottom teams and trying
02:02to climb that table as much as we can. Then we've got a tough away game coming up at Brentford
02:07as well, so the fixtures don't get any easier. But we've got to dig deep, we've got to find
02:12some character and we've got to find some leadership from somewhere. Yes, things may
02:16improve when we get the key players back, but it needs to otherwise. In a month's time
02:23I just can't see Postacoglu still being in a job. I think the injuries and the unprecedented
02:29situation and injury crisis, you might say, is keeping him in a job as well as the cup
02:32competitions because Daniel Levy would not be keeping a manager that's lost 11 games
02:37out of 21 in the league under any other circumstances. If things don't turn around in the next month,
02:43maybe even less than that, the end is nigh. It has to be because we just can't afford
02:49to carry on like this.
