00:00The Kadiwa ng Pangulo stores and outlets have been a huge pick-me-up to tens of thousands of Filipinos

00:25The Metro Manila Council has approved the request of the Department of Agriculture
00:29to establish Kadiwa kios, outlets, and Kadiwa ng Pangulo on-wheels in 150 markets across Metro Manila.
00:35The aim of this initiative is to reach more Filipinos and provide them with affordable products
00:41such as fresh vegetables, rice at 29 pesos per kilo for PWDs and seniors,
00:47and a rice-for-all program at 38 pesos per kilo.
00:59We are waiting for the guidelines of the Department of Agriculture to be properly implemented.
01:06Currently, there are Kadiwa stores in 20 locations in Metro Manila or about one in change for every city in the NCR cluster.
