00:00The tunneling work will start at Camp Aguinaldo Station of the Metro Manila Subway Project.

00:06The Armed Forces of the Philippines, or AFP, expressed their support for the project.

00:12Patrick De Jesus of PTV Manila has the details of the national news.

00:18The tunnel boring machine was launched at Camp Aguinaldo Station of the Metro Manila Subway Project.

00:23Because of this, the tunneling works for the Contract Package 103 of the project of the century will start.

00:30The Contract Package 103, which was awarded to Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company,

00:35is a part of the seven Civil Works Contract Packages of the Subway Project.

00:39Camp Aguinaldo and Anonas Station are in the clouds of CP-103.

00:53...with tunnels connecting Quezon City to Pasig City.

00:58We are again deeply grateful to the Government of Japan, including the JICA, for their unwavering support to this subway project.

01:09AFP expressed their support for the project and they hope that Camp Aguinaldo Station of the Subway Project will help.

01:17For the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp Aguinaldo Station means more than enhanced mobility.

01:25It represents strategic advantage.

01:30Our soldiers, our civilian staff and their families will have increased access to reliable transit,

01:38allowing us to respond with greater speed and efficiency during emergencies.

01:46The partial operation of the Metro Manila Subway Project in 2029,

01:50which has 33 kilometers and 17 stations from Valenzuela to FTI Bicutan in Taguig City, is the target.

01:57If it is completed, half a million passengers will be able to use it.

02:01The right-of-way to the project is also being continued.

02:04Our right-of-way will be lowered as low as 47 meters because of the terrain and also in order to assuage the fears.

02:25Recently, a large part of Mindanao Avenue was closed until 2028

02:31to allow the construction of the old Soray Station of the Metro Manila Subway Project.
