00:50I am very excited. It's a dream come true. I always wanted to come here and to shower, to take a bath in the Ganges River and I have done so today. I have fulfilled that wish. I would not be here the next one. I am happy to be here this one. I encourage those who are here, this event is going to last until February. Come and take a dip in the holy Ganges River.
01:20What would you like to say about the arrangements made by the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Government of India?
01:50My wish, my dreams is to come here and I have fulfilled that today. Jai Hind. Radhe Radhe.
02:20What is your name and where are you from?
02:23My name is Seema and I am from South Africa.
02:27Seema ji, you are here on the holy land of Prayagraj. You have taken a dip on the occasion of Mahakam. What would you like to say? How excited are you?
02:36I think it's a dream that's been fulfilled. I love Shiva so much and I think he brought me here because it came so unexpected.
02:47And having the dip, I think at the age that I am, I think there's a lot of emotions within that you cannot express with people. We cannot express in words.
02:58And here, taking this dip I've just released and I'm sure it's an absolutely amazing spiritual journey to follow and I feel so rewarded already.
03:08And I'm looking forward to what the days bring me ahead after this. It's absolutely phenomenal, magnificent, exhilarating and an experience that can never be forgotten.
03:21It's once in a 144 years that Mahakam happens and you are a part of Mahakam now. You have witnessed a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.
03:30Absolutely. I know now even if I have to pass, I'm going straight to Bhagavan. That's what I've been told. It's an auspicious time being here.
03:40I know the other day was full moon as well. Back in South Africa, full moon means a lot to us. We do a lot. It's a pity we couldn't be here on that day.
03:48But I'm grateful for the opportunity of being here. It's absolutely beautiful. It's absolutely spiritual and I'm already feeling rejuvenated.
03:55It was a great one. It's winter here, right? It's winter. I expected the water to be freezing but I promise you as I adapted, it just became easier.
04:05Every dip, the seven dips I did just became easier, so much easier.
04:09Thank you so much, ma'am.
04:11You're welcome. Thank you so much for having us. Thank you.

04:31As part of that, as part of the content creation, social influencer group, we came also to the Mahakum.
04:40Of course, as a child, we heard so much about this Mahakum. I grew up in a Hindu home.
04:47As a child, my father told us stories about the churning of the ocean and what happened.
04:52It's just so amazing to experience this. It's such a once in a lifetime opportunity.
