00:00Good afternoon, it's the 15th of January 2025 and here are the latest transfer headlines from across Yorkshire.
00:07First of all, over at Hull City, the Tigers have completed the loan signing of Joe Gelhart from Leeds United.
00:12The forward has tumbled down the pecking order at Elland Road in recent years. It's been a difficult spell for him,
00:17but he will spend the rest of the season with the Tigers and we'll be hoping to get some valuable, valuable minutes.
00:22And over at Sheffield United, the Blades are believed to be locked in a battle with Sunderland for the signature of Leicester City's Tom Cannon.
00:28The Republic of Ireland international is officially back at Leicester now, has been on loan at Stoke City,
00:33has been recalled from that loan spell after scoring 11 goals in 25 appearances.
00:38And Huddersfield Town appears to be close to unveiling Dion Charles as their latest sign-in.
00:43He's a very talented player at Bolton Wanderers, but the Bolton manager Ian Ebbert has confirmed that an offer for Charles from Huddersfield has been accepted.
00:51So that looks like a deal that could potentially be done soon.
00:54Over in South Yorkshire, Sheffield Wednesday have been credited with interest in Rangers winger Rabih Matondo,
00:59although an unnamed European club have agreed a deal to sign him, according to the report.
01:05And Aberdeen defender Jack McKenzie, also believed to be on the club's radar.
01:10He was linked with Sheffield United, Preston North End and Stoke City a few months back,
01:14got his first call up to the Scotland national team earlier on in the season, but didn't get his first cap.
01:20And two loan returns in Yorkshire as well.
01:23Barnsley have welcomed Andy Dallas back into the fold, has been on loan at Barrow in League 2.
01:28Five goals in 22 appearances for the Bluebirds, but Barrow have opted to cut the loan short.
01:33He's now back at Oakwell.
01:35And Huddersfield have welcomed Neil Eccleston back to their B team set-up.
01:38He's also been on loan at Barrow, 17 appearances in the fourth tier for the young defender,
01:44but his loan stay has come to an end and he is now officially back within the Huddersfield ranks.
