00:07In that game against Penn State and my gosh, this was an exciting game very dull in the first half

00:16A really hard fought game. I thought some really big plays by Riley Leonard down the stretch as well
00:23So, you know my takeaway from this is that if Penn State played Notre Dame 10 times

00:31It seemed like they were really evenly matched and we'll get to the odds makers moving forward
00:36But I feel like Notre Dame is going to have to bring a little bit more
00:39Against Ohio State if they want to beat them
00:42They can't have a first half like they did against Penn State where the Nittany Lions controlled the game on the ground

00:50Got away from it a little bit to start the second half and that ended up costing them
00:53But I really thought this game turned when Notre Dame came out of the second half had a seven play 75 yard drive
01:00That was a statement tie game
01:02And I wasn't even sure if Riley Leonard was going to come out of the tunnel after the hit he took
01:06Steve Angeli had a big possession for them
01:09They've got that charmed feel to them where their defense special teams have showed up for every game
01:15And the offense is just grinding out the victories
01:18They did throw the ball down the field better than I thought they would against Penn State even with Abdul Carter doing what he did

01:24I think the Irish are going to compete in this game against Ohio State. They've seen it the last two years
01:29They're not going to be overwhelmed by the talent. I don't think they can win
01:34But I do think they're going to show up and compete. I mean, it was a 17-14 game last year
