00:00How do you compare the board exam and the release exam?
00:12I feel like in the 10th exam, the pressure of the Indian parents is different.
00:17And here, the pressure is of the whole country.
00:21So I feel like both are equal.
00:24I don't think it's about pressure.
00:36But this was a script that I fell in love with when I read.
00:41It was like a dream.
00:43So it was no doubt.
00:45I don't think we are at that stage right now in our careers where we can be allowed also to take pressure.
00:54In any career, when you have your first job, the expectations are very different.
00:58I feel like it would be very arrogant of us to think box office.
01:02Because we just started out.
01:04I feel a film like this had to be a theatre release because the story was like that.
01:08And our character in this film, personally why I am very attached to this film is because
01:14I felt it's a big challenge for me to play a character that dates 100 years back.
01:19We are Gen Z, their mentality must be very different.
01:22He is a stable boy, his social status.
01:24And the best part about this film is the horse, Azad.
01:27I have so many scenes with him.
01:30It was very important to bond with him.
01:32It was such a special, special experience.
01:40I don't think, I don't know.
01:43I am interviewing you.
01:47I don't think it's about that.
01:49I think we are not joining films thinking that this is easier, this is less easier.
01:57This was, it's about the script, it's about the story.
02:01So whether it came out on OTT or whether it came out in the theatres, our love for the film is as much.
02:06So I feel like whether, personally this is my opinion, I could be wrong.
02:10But I feel like whether it's OTT or box office, we as actors are employees to a much bigger and larger corporation.
02:18And our work will be judged the same way as a reviewer.
02:21Because I feel like the audience, whether they see you on the small screen or the big screen,
02:25they are only going to judge you on your performance at the end of the day.
02:28And I don't think we have that capability or power right now to even think about box office.
02:33We have just started out and hopefully we have done our jobs with good authenticity.
02:37That is our main goal.
02:39Of late, in the last five years, we have seen all the star kids who have made their debut,
02:44they were mostly in their 20s, like 23, 24.
02:48You are only 19. I checked a while back.
02:51You are in your 20s.
02:5224.
02:5324.
02:54So, and many of them, you know, went to US for higher studies, for like masters and everything.
02:59So did you feel like you should study a little more?
03:02I am studying.
03:03I am studying.
03:09The time management of it.
03:11But I think both sides have been, whether it's my school or whether it's been Gattusa and the production house,
03:17both have been very supportive in a way where I can achieve and balance both.
03:21So it's been, I think it's important. It's needed.
03:24So for me, being a part of this legacy is a duty, a responsibility.
03:34And yes, you know, this legacy started with my Nana.
03:39And I will try and I will work hard that I can do at least half of what they did.
03:45And I hope I can do my Nana proud.
03:48But the work that goes into this is on us.
03:53And I think we both are willing to really work our hardest to prove ourselves.
03:58I think definitely there is pressure.
04:00I think when you are coming from such a big legacy, the expectations are the same.
04:07I think the expectations are just as big.
04:10And I feel like it is very important to respect that.
04:14With your talent, with your hard work.
04:17And I think if you do your work with a true heart,
04:22and your talent and your hard work is on point,
04:24I feel like the audience will like what you have to offer.
04:32So, I think with the film and everything, we are right now just trying to work hard.
04:41And you know, there is this one line that Krishnaji said in the Bhagavad Gita,
04:48which is that you work hard, you do your work.
04:51And other than that, the externalities, the comments, the opinions,
04:54are all external, they are not internal.
04:58And ahead of that, there is no guarantee of success.
05:03But as long as you have tried your best and worked your hardest, that's all that matters.
05:08I think definitely you get an opportunity easily, I think we can admit that.
05:13But I feel like what you do with that opportunity is very important.
05:17I feel like the kind of environment we have been born in,
05:22cinema is the talk, morning, evening, noon, always.
05:26And when I have assisted in three films,
05:29I feel like I fell in love with this entire industry and this entire process of cinema.
05:34And working towards it with your head down, definitely takes a lot of hard work.
05:40And it is very important to work on your talent every day, your skills every day.
05:46And I feel like when you display your work, you will be judged on that.
05:50And I just hope that we have justified our roles.
05:59Sometimes when I was a kid, I used to practice a little.
06:02If someone is interviewing me, I will reply like this or like that.
06:06So that was fun, you know.
06:08I never knew that...
06:11Seriously, not properly, but I think more in a fun light way,
06:14that if I am asked this question, what will I say?
06:18I think like that, yeah.
06:25Mom used to speak in Hindi at home.
06:28I think the industry in which we want to work, its main language is Hindi.
06:32So if we don't know that, then I think that's not a good thing.
06:36And I'm glad I didn't know that we know Hindi so well.
06:39I guess it's a good thing.
06:46So I have done 11 films now.
06:48There is one more left, Nageshwar.
06:50So I think when the film releases, I will go and thank him.
06:57And I wear this black thread every day.
07:00I don't remove it.
07:02Because it is very special for me.
07:04You know, my bond and connection with God, I really love it.
07:07And even me and Aman, before any flight or when we were traveling for promotions,
07:14even for the shoot, we hold hands and say,
07:17Jai Mata Di, Har Har Mahadev.
