Bradford City striker Andy Cook is set to miss the rest of the season with an injury. Daniel Wales reports.

00:00Bradford City have confirmed that striker Andy Cooke is to miss the remainder of the
00:07League Two season following an injury picked up against Barrow on New Year's Day. Cooke
00:12was forced off during the game and scans later confirmed that the striker sustained a cruciate
00:18ligament injury and will now undergo surgery later this month. Cooke has scored 85 goals
00:25during his time for Bradford City so far, but now is set for a lengthy spell on the
00:30sidelines with the Bantams looking to push for promotion in his absence. They currently
00:36sit just a couple of points away from the League Two play-off places and now may look
00:41to use the January transfer window as means to find a suitable replacement for the rest
00:46of the season. Bradford then went on to confirm that they will welcome Cooke back with open
00:51arms once he has returned from his long spell out with the cruciate ligament injury.
