The prime minister has kicked-off the election year with a multi-billion-dollar funding pledge to improve one of the country's most notoriously dangerous roads, the Bruce Highway in Queensland. This trip to regional Queensland is the first in a number of visits this week across the Sunshine State, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
