00:00So just behind me here is our beautiful little koala joey, her name is Violet and she's around
00:1110 months old.
00:12Usually they'll stay in their mum's pouch full time for around 6 months and then they'll
00:16start to come out around that 6-7 month mark before finally emerging completely like Violet
00:21here and then once they're a little bit bigger, usually by a year to a year and a half, they'll
00:25become fully independent.
00:26She's pretty similar to her mum actually, she's a little bit cheeky.
00:29So Tilly who is her mother is known for being one of our cheeky koalas, her and her auntie
00:35Palak as well are both known to be some of our troublemakers.
00:39She definitely loves very very fresh chips, she's a little bit fussy with her food and
00:43forest red gum is probably her favourite.
00:47She can see she's eating a little bit of leaf at the moment but yeah, she's a very very
00:50cheeky koala and she's very cute as well.
00:54She's definitely got her mum's ears and her appearance, Tilly, this is Freya and also
01:00Violet are some of our cutest koalas here at the park.
01:02So people from all over, we've had people coming up from Sydney, enjoying school holidays
01:06with us to see our beautiful koalas, coming in and doing koala encounters, stuff like
01:10that and we also have had lots of international guests coming in to see our beautiful koalas
01:14as well.
