01:01survey ahead of the 2025 midterm elections.
01:03The Social Weather Station's In Partnership with Think Tank's StratBase group conducted
01:08the survey from December 12 to 18 and released results in late December.
01:12Tulfo registers a 45% preference among those surveyed.
01:16Senate re-electionist Senator Bongrevilla Jr. trails at 33%.
01:20Both are Lakas candidates.
01:22The rest of the top candidates are made up of familiar names — re-electionist candidates
01:27or those who come from political dynasties.
01:30Candidates who ranked 15th and beyond in the survey include former Senator Kiko Pangilinan,
01:35former Interior Chief Benjuer Abelos, and former Senator Bam Makino.
01:38The Philippines will be electing 13 senators in the 2025 polls.
01:43Meantime, ACT-CIS, the party-list group Tulfo currently represents in the 19th Congress,
01:49ranks second in the same survey.
01:51ACT-CIS topped the 2022 party-list race, earning three seats in the 19th Congress.
01:57The mid-December survey reports 4Ps or Pagtibayan at Palaguyin ang Pangkabuhayan Pilipino as
02:03the top-preferred party-list group.
02:07South Korea's acting President, Prime Minister Han Deok-su, faces an impeachment vote as
02:12the Constitutional Court holds its first hearing on December 27 regarding President Yun Suk-yol's
02:18impeachment.
02:19The main opposition Democratic Party, or DP, in South Korea unveils a plan on December
02:2426 to impeach the acting President, Prime Minister Han Deok-su, this after he declines
02:30to appoint three justices to fill vacancies at the Constitutional Court, saying doing
02:34so would exceed his role.
02:36The DP initially refrains from pursuing Han's impeachment following President Yun Suk-yol's
02:41impeachment.
02:42However, tensions have since risen over Han's refusal to appoint the justices and his opposition
02:47to special prosecutor bills investigating Yun.
02:50The DP accuses Han of abusing power to obstruct Yun's trial, labeling him a key suspect in
02:56the rebellion.
02:57Meanwhile, Yun's People Power Party leader, Kwon Yong-se, says that Han's impeachment
03:02could trigger a new financial crisis.
03:05The vote on Han's impeachment comes as the Constitutional Court prepares to hold its
03:10first hearing on whether Yun will be reinstated or permanently removed from office.
03:14The court has 180 days to make a decision, and if Yun is removed, a new presidential
03:19election will be held within 60 days.
03:23Four sources in Azerbaijan say that a Russian air defense system brought down an Azerbaijan

03:44The plane deviated hundreds of miles from its scheduled route from Baku, Azerbaijan,
03:48to Grozny, Russia, to crash on the opposite shore of the Caspian Sea after experiencing
03:53an emergency, possibly due to a bird strike.
03:56Officials did not immediately clarify why the plane had crossed the sea, but the crash
04:00occurred after Ukrainian drone strikes targeted the Chechnya region of southern Russia earlier
04:05this month.
04:06The closest Russian airport along the plane's flight path was closed on Wednesday morning.
04:12Officials from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan have all called for investigations into the
04:16crash.

04:32prompting Fr.

04:34The bishop did not lose consciousness and was able to leave the lectern with assistance
04:38from doctors who were present at the mass.
04:40He was quickly brought to a hospital and later transferred by sea ambulance to Zamboanga
04:45City.
