00:38The flight, J28243, had deviated hundreds of kilometers from its scheduled route from
00:45Azerbaijan to Russia, crashing on the opposite shore of the Caspian Sea.
00:51The aircraft had originally diverted from an area of Russia recently defended by Moscow
00:55against Ukrainian drone attacks.
00:58Russia's aviation watchdog suggested the crash may have been triggered by an emergency
01:02caused by a bird strike.
01:05However, Kazakhstan's Senate chairman stated that the cause of the crash remains under
01:09investigation.
