00:00One of the interesting things about Georgia, at least from
00:05our perspective, the odds perspective, Georgia, a perfect
00:08four and oh against the spread in those four ranked wins over
00:12the four teams that will play alongside the dogs in the CFP
00:16did not cover a single game elsewhere in the remaining
00:21thirteen or the remaining nine to fill out that thirteen game
00:24schedule. So, Kev, you are not a believer in the Ducks. You
00:27still believe the best team in the college football playoff is
00:29Georgia. Do you have a bet on the dogs to win the national
00:33championship is five to one still an enticing price. Oh, if
00:36you don't have one yet, actually, I'd probably then, I
00:40mean, look, I know the numbers aren't the same. You you can
00:43make the wager but II probably be pleased with a far bigger, a
00:47far lesser payout and just betting the Notre Dame game
00:49because obviously, not, it's not that you can't, of course,
00:54you don't think they can win the title without winning that
00:56game but it's more about if they win that game, what you
01:02don't, you may not still want the bet. Yeah. Like, there's a
01:05world. Let me be very clear here. As the most unbiased man
01:09in the history of sports media which people thinks a bit but
01:10it's not a bit which is why it's a bit. If they play Notre
01:13Dame, a win is not just enough to say, oh, they're all fine and
01:17good. That is why and this is where I know I am different than
01:21people but I don't care. It's what makes me me. I don't care
01:24that Oregon's thirteen and oh. This isn't, we don't sit down
01:27here, read the standings, and then figure it all out. Oregon's
01:31defense has not been championship level. What about
01:35their offense? Yeah, that's great. You you just said that
01:38that that yes, that's real, right? We're like, wow, what
01:41Oregon, how the way Dan Lennon gets the offense ready. I
01:44forgot when he was the offensive coordinator. But he
01:46still had defensive game plans to win those games. Even if
01:50their defense wasn't Georgia or Texas in terms of the stats or
01:54even Notre Dame, they have found ways to win and and
01:58again, I just think how many losses does he have in his
02:01career as a head coach? He has the best win percentage as an
02:03FBS active head coach right now but only three full seconds.
02:06But again, and and look, this is where I look. I'm I'm the
02:10balance between prodding and being serious. Daniel Lennon
02:13also never could beat a real good team until the until he
02:16got to beat the real good teams of the Big Ten, right? Yeah.
02:20You could say it was early on in the process. George almost
02:23wiped him off the face of the earth and then last year, he
02:26could not touch DeBoer in Washington. That's a very real
02:29thing. It is. Yeah. And here's the thing about. They can't
02:32touch. I mean, they lost both of those games in fourth quarter.
02:35It was a I mean. The the the second one they they had to
02:38make a big comeback and the first one was super super
02:40close and they got bad fourth down variants ultimately. But
02:43the the other the other thing with Oregon which I think is
02:48and I'm not trying to take away but we look at the Ohio State
02:50game. What's kind of lost in that is they were dogs in that
02:54game. They were right like all in all when you take the number
02:59one team won by a point at home, right? Like that is not overly
03:05dominant like their best result of the year is beating Penn
03:09State, which is a right of passage to any great team that
03:13plays in the Big Ten. You're like it's just again. I refuse
03:18any notion and the odds tell you Oregon is not on a tier of
03:22their own. They are thirteen and oh they're not in their own
03:25lane and part of that is the path. Oregon awaits the winner
03:28of Ohio State and Tennessee tonight. Boise State awaits the
03:31winner of Penn State and SMU ASU will take on the winner of
03:36Texas in Clemson.
