The King and Queen have attended a reception in celebration of community cohesion at Waltham Forest Town Hall in east London. Charles joked that he was "still alive" when a representative asked him how he was, which follows news that his cancer treatment will continue into next year. During the visit Camilla donated toys to children living in asylum hotels and after listening to a performance by a children's choir, the King joked their "poor teachers" should make the most of the Christmas break.
