00:00 I thought it was a joke really, I thought it was a practical joke. I said, "Come on,
00:05 he just came back from hospital, what are you saying that he's got cancer now? Please,
00:08 can you get out of here?" Then later I saw it, and then I saw it on the main, on the
00:14 big, I said, "Wow!" It was just unbelievable.
00:20 I think they've caught it in time, and I hope they do because I think he'll make a wonderful
00:27 king, Charles. It's the longest apprenticeship in history that he had to wait until his lovely
00:34 mum died, and she was in the hearts of millions of people. I'm sure he will eventually, perhaps
00:43 not quite yet, but I think eventually.
00:47 I am surprised that he is now able to tell the world that he has cancer. I think that
00:54 is a good thing.
00:56 Do I think that excessive media coverage on exclusively the royal family is a bit of a
01:03 problem? Yes, and I think King Charles is one of many people who is affected by cancer,
01:11 and if this can serve as a bit of a public reminder of the impacts that such a diagnosis
01:20 has, then that's nothing but a good thing.
01:23 I was really surprised, especially as now that we recently knew some of the rumours
01:29 of the condition of Kate. I was, yeah, I was surprised, and I felt pity of him, and I was
01:38 sad about it.
01:39 I think it's very sensible, apparently. It was the grandfather, wasn't even told by his
01:45 doctors that he had cancer and died. So, yeah, it just makes it more normal for everybody
01:52 to think about.
01:53 Well, first of all, I think it's really good that he's come out to public with everything,
01:58 because sometimes they keep everything to themselves and we don't hear anything. And
02:01 I know, first of all, he said that he was really, he wanted to make sure men sort of
02:07 being aware of the prostate sort of stuff. So that was a good start, and then obviously
02:12 after that then, that's when they found his cancer. I'm not a royalist, but I wouldn't
02:16 want to wish anybody ill, so I hope he's all right really quickly, because at the end of
02:21 the day, he's a human, and you don't wish any ill health on anybody.
02:24 Well, he's done it, and he's brave to do it, and I think he will recover. So we give him
02:31 our best wishes.
02:33 He, you know, he's got convictions on the environment, and not everybody agrees with
02:40 him, but I think he talks a lot of sense. He's a similar age to myself, and so God bless
02:48 him, and I wish him all the best, and his family obviously. I know Harry's coming over
02:53 to see him, and I have a lot of time for him, and I wish him all the best.
