Mahigit isang dekada na ang nakakaraan mula nang magpatayo ang GMA Kapuso Foundation ng mga Kapuso school sa Rizal. Ilang mga kalamidad na rin ang pinagdaanan ng mga eskwelahang ito, kaya hindi na rin maitago ang ilang sira. Ngayong Pasko, isang magandang regalo po ang handog namin sa mga guro at mag-aaral.

00:00More than a decade has passed since the construction of the GMA Kapuso Foundation

00:09by Kapuso Schools in Rizal.

00:11Some calamities have been experienced by these schools,

00:15so it is impossible to hide their damage.

00:18This Christmas, we have a beautiful gift for teachers and students.

00:25Leticia is taking care of her 8-year-old grandchild, Denden, while her father is working.

00:32There is a rumor that there is a Kapuso School near their place

00:37that she will not have a hard time bringing her grandchild to school,

00:41especially since she is already old.

00:44I am thankful to God and to GMA Kapuso.

00:56Our schools have also been affected by the storm.

01:03But there are Kapuso Schools that have not been able to survive in the past.

01:09Like Matagbak Elementary School in Pililya.

01:13When the storm hit,

01:15up to half of the doors of our GMA building were hit by water.

01:24The windows were damaged and the paintings faded.

01:31The building did not survive.

01:33Although it remains strong, its old age is also gone.

01:38That is why this Christmas, we have a gift for teachers and students in Rizal.

01:44Because of the help that we have accumulated,

01:48we will be doing a large-scale rehabilitation project

01:55here in our Kapuso Schools in Rizal.

02:00Among the things that will be fixed are the Kapuso Schools in Rodriguez, Tanay, and Pililya.

02:07We also gave give-a-gift bags to 2,855 students, including Deng Deng.

02:15Our GMA Kapuso building will be repaired.
