00:06your baby. Yes. So where did you, you weren't, we're here at, what's the address?
00:12Higford Cotsbrook, just outside of Shetland. Just off the rabbit run. And so you weren't always here were you?
00:19No, we were on the site of a primary school prior to this for about 27 years.
00:25And now it's part of the Apley Estate where we are and you represent Apley
00:30Estate. So you came to the rescue then? Well we did yes, Angie has known our
00:37estate director for many years, in fact I believe his son was at the nursery when we were at, so that's the
00:43relationship there. Yeah. And when Angie needed the lovely nursery, Apley Estate and Graham stepped in.
00:53It's a lovely, lovely space here isn't it Angie? An old converted barn, farm kind of, out in the
01:00countryside, loads of space, a nice big play garden which we'll show on the video.
01:05What's special about your nursery then Angie? So we've always tried to, our ethos is very much home from home, so we've always tried to make it feel like a homely space.
01:17Lots of staff to look after all the children and so that the children do
01:22feel like it's a home from home environment when they are at nursery.
01:27Have you had that moment yet that makes you feel old where you've got the first
01:31little ones that you looked after 30 years ago coming with their own little ones? Yes, definitely, plenty of children that we've looked after in the last few years I've looked after their parents.
01:41It must be rewarding, but it's full-on isn't it when you're running a nursery I should imagine?
01:45It's very, very busy. I think people sometimes don't realise what has to happen behind closed doors, just to open the doors.
01:52Yeah, yeah, many boxes to tick I should imagine. Many boxes to tick, but it's so, we feel very privileged to be able to make a difference to the lives of all the children that walk through our doors and the families as well because we've, you know, we are as supportive with the parents and their families as we are with the children.
02:10Well, 30 fantastic years and no sign of giving up, still going strong. No, still going strong.
