00:00My name is Simon Edwards and I am a manager of A. Evans and Sons which is celebrating

00:06its 100th year this year.

00:08Well it was first started by Alfred Evans in 1924 which was then taken over by his son

00:18Kenneth and then Mike Evans and then Mike decided to retire about 3 years ago and we

00:25were very lucky to have the opportunity to buy the shop.

00:29Yeah really good, it's been built on great foundation so it's not been a difficult job

00:34to keep things going, it's just been important to keep things the same as Mike had them looking

00:39after customers and good value for money.

00:42I mean it's very important to keep it going for even longer which is one of our plans

00:47but to keep it for 100 years over the last 100 years which has been very difficult through

00:53difficult times, it's just about looking after customers, working with similar brands to

00:58Mike used to work with as well as introducing a few new ones just to keep up with the trends

01:04and bits and pieces like that.

01:07And through December we're going to have some really special offers on, every Saturday afternoon

01:11we're going to be open from 1 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening and people can come

01:15down for a glass of wine, cup of tea, cup of coffee and there'll be special offers specifically

01:20for those Saturdays for fittings during January, February and March next year.
