Macau marked the 25th anniversary of handover from Portugal to Chinese rule with a flag raising ceremony on Friday (Dec 20).
Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai, who was born in China's southern Guangdong province and speaks fluent Portuguese, attended the ceremony with officials from Macau.
