00:00Uh, Lions lost on Sunday, of course, for the first time in a long time.
00:06That was to the Buffalo Bills, by the way, uh, who they lost to on Sunday.
00:10Now, uh, and not only did they lose the game and they're just losing bodies left and right.
00:15I'm sure you say Montgomery out, more guys on defense out and they're just losing guys.
00:20So here's Dan Campbell.
00:21Now, this was yesterday and he had some more colorful things to say about this this morning,
00:26uh, on Detroit radio, which I'm going to try to get for you for tomorrow.
00:29But here he is yesterday.
00:30Uh, Lions now have to answer the bell.
00:33Lots of guys are out.
00:34They have to step up and take care of business.
00:36She had a number of, of errors.
00:38Um, you know, he doesn't look as big today, but he's been uncharacteristic and that tape
00:45speaks for itself and, um, you know, it's, and we're going to learn from it and learn
00:52from it and we're going to burn it and then we're moving on.
00:55Um, cause that's what we do.
00:57So we'll bounce back from this.
00:59Sometimes you got to get punched in the face and, uh, before you know how to respond.
01:03And so I, I think this is a, this is good for us and, uh, we're going to use this to
01:08our advantage and, uh, get ready for, for a division opponent on the road.
01:14Listen, they have never been right to the Superbowl and everyone thinks they're going
01:22to the Superbowl.
01:23I mean, everyone has them in the Superbowl.
01:25They lost to the Bills.
01:26They still have Detroit Buffalo Superbowl that, that they lost to them and they still
01:32have them playing the Bills in the Superbowl.
01:34It has been the most jinxed franchise in literally like Minnesota and the Bills losing for Superbowls.
01:44The, the lions can't even get there.
01:47They're so jinxed.
01:48At least the Bills go to Superbowls.
01:50The lions are so jinxed.
01:52They never go with all these injuries.
01:54Get ready.
01:55It's happening again.
01:57Get ready.
01:58You cannot win in the NFL in the playoff with your entire team injured.
02:06I'm sorry.
02:07It's not happening.
02:08I don't believe for one minute they're going, I don't believe for one minute now that they're
02:11going with the entire team is in a cast.
02:16Yeah.
02:17I think, I think the injuries on D have really mounted up, uh, too much now.
02:22I think they're still okay on offense without Montgomery.
02:29I think that it's obviously a lot more on Gibbs and I think that's what makes their
02:32offense good is both those guys come in and out, but I think they'll still be able to
02:36score points with Montgomery out.
02:37It's their defense that I think is going to be a problem.
02:40Now this week they're going outdoors for, I think like only the second time all year
02:44they're in Chicago against the bears minus six and a half for the lions, 47 and a half
02:50year.
02:51Early in that game, because the bears stink, but I'll tell you what, if they meet the Packers
02:55again in the playoffs, they're going down.
02:58If they meet the Eagles in the playoffs, they're going down.
03:01I'll even say this.
03:03If they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers again in the playoffs, like they did last year,
03:07remember who had the ball with a chance to win Baker maybe only threw a pick.
03:11That's why they won that game.
03:12They play the Bucs again this year and are going down with all those injuries, I'll bet
03:16on all three against them.
03:18All three.
03:20Bay, Philly, Tampa, they all three beat them.
03:22I'll tell you another thing, I'll bet Minnesota will beat them too, because Minnesota is healthy.
03:29Tampa, one of the two teams that has beaten them this year.
03:32Remember Tampa beat them in Detroit back in week two.
03:35So I could see Tampa absolutely beating them again.
03:39They know they can beat them.
03:40They've been there.
03:41They've beaten them before.
