00:28here at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

00:34The Parangal Gawad ng Kawusayan sa Komunikasyon pang Publiko

00:39is the first awarding ceremony of the PCO.

00:42Its purpose is to identify the contribution of the government agencies

00:47and local governments in communication campaigns and strategies

00:52and initiatives to effectively distribute government programs to the public.

00:57Transparency and accountability and trust between the government and the people of the Philippines.

01:05This initiative encourages each government agency to be creative and innovative

01:10in building strategies for the contribution of projects.

01:15This Parangal will serve as a pathway for the best practices

01:20in the contribution of healthy competition and other government entities

01:25to further enhance their public engagement

01:28and to further strengthen the unified messaging framework of the government

01:32through transparent, effective, and citizen-focused communication.

01:37This will also strengthen the value of ethical and accountable communication in nation-building.

01:42The Public Service Campaign Award, Government Innovation Award,

01:48Champion of Information Integrity Award, Outstanding Digital Campaign Award,

01:52and Outstanding Public Communicator Award.
