00:00The Commission on Higher Education, or CHED,
00:04successfully organized an inter-tertiary basketball event
00:07organized by state universities, local government unit-owned teams,
00:12and other private institutions
00:14after the CHED All-Star Friendship Games
00:18at the Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City.
00:21It was led by several well-known players
00:23from the National Collegiate Athletic Association
00:26and University Athletic Association of the Philippines,
00:29as well as other major collegiate leagues in the country
00:32such as ELCUA, PRISAA, SKUA, and NAASKU.
00:36This was the first time the event was held
00:41and it is expected to grow in the future
00:44so that a national tertiary games can be held
00:48for college athletes
00:51that will be held like a grassroots event
00:53for young Filipinos and international players.
