00:00A huge divisional duel on a Thursday to open up week 15 around the National Football League
00:09with serious implications for the NFC playoff picture. Joe, let's start with the victorious
00:14team last night in Santa Clara. That's the L.A. Rams. Again, no pictures on the scorecard.
00:20You can play in one of the most offensive games, not offensive, most offensive games
00:25in the history of the NFL, like L.A. did a week ago. 44-42 against the Buffalo Bills.
00:32Highest scoring game of this season. First ever NFL game in history where both teams
00:37score 40-plus and nobody turns the football over. And then on a short week, just about
00:43four days later, turn around and play in a game where no touchdowns were recorded and
00:49there was only 18 total points. But still, you found a way to win on the road on a short
00:56week against a divisional foe. And the Rams entered last night 7-6. They now pick up win
01:03number eight of this season. And Joe, the Rams entered last night at plus 160 to win
01:09the NFC West behind the Seattle Seahawks. It is no longer plus 160, and they are no
01:15longer behind Seattle. Minus 105, the price for L.A. Seattle still has a half-game lead,
01:23if you will, in the division, having not played yet in Week 15, and having an 8-5 record.
01:29But L.A. has moved in front on the odds board, and there's a few reasons that number might
01:34be justified.
01:35Yeah, I mean, listen, in that division, Ben, so let's put an X through the 49ers here,
01:42right? So we got to have to count on what, Arizona or Seattle here? Now, Seattle seems
01:48to have put it together rather well since their bye week. But Arizona, you have no idea
01:55which Kyla Murray shows up on a week-to-week basis, which is troubling, to say the least.
02:01So it's the Rams and Seattle, as far as I'm concerned. And I'd give the leg up to the
02:06Rams simply because they have an MVP-caliber quarterback, and the way he's playing with
02:12the weapons he has. This all happened last night, by the way. I don't think Cooper Cupp
02:15had one catch in that game yesterday. But Nakua and everyone else and Kyra Williams,
02:21they have a running game. They have a very prolific passing game. They got a great experience
02:26head coach. Yeah, I'm in the Rams' band camp here. I think this is absolutely a team that
02:33can do some damage, not only win the West, but may upend a team or two along the way.
