00:12Dr. Disrespects' over-the-top rage is almost always part of an elaborate joke, but there
00:17are still times when the doc has taken things too far.
00:20If you don't know the name Brendan Green, you might know his handle as a game modder,
00:24PlayerUnknown.
00:25If you don't know that, you've at least probably heard of the game PUBG, aka PlayerUnknown's
00:29Battlegrounds, his very successful Battle Royale game from 2017.
00:34Dr. Disrespect was hit with a PUBG ban after killing one of his own teammates, so he decided
00:39to take his anger out on the game's creator.
00:41What started as a good-natured back-and-forth on X, formerly Twitter, shifted dramatically
00:46when the doc posted,
00:47"'If I could do the splits, I'd roundhouse kick you in the neck.
00:50But since I can't, I'll just front kick you in the chest instead.'"
00:53In a now-deleted reply, Green condemned Dr. Disrespect for joking about violence.
00:58He further explained that a college roommate had actually kicked him in the chest, putting
01:01him through a glass door and nearly killing him.
01:04All I ask from anyone that reads this is to consider that your words, however flippant
01:08they may be, could have unintended effects on those reading them.
01:11In the summer of 2024, the world learned why Dr. Disrespect had been banned from Twitch.
01:16The doc admitted that he'd exchanged some inappropriate messages with a minor, though
01:20he would later backtrack those statements.
01:22Beam's initial admission caused all sorts of people to come forward to voice their opinions,
01:26including streaming superstar Pokimane.
01:28She summed up her initial thoughts in just a single word,
01:31"'Yuck.'"
01:32She also called him out for his behavior at his age in a stream.
01:34"'I'm not saying that like it's bad to be 42.
01:37It's not bad to be 42.
01:41It's just bad to be that old and be behaving a certain way.'"
01:45In 2022, Tyler, Ninja Blevins, was singing the praises of no-build Fortnite on social
01:50media when the doc came out of the woodwork to issue a challenge, posting to X,
01:54"'I'd wipe you so fast without building now.
01:57You and I both know this.'"
01:58Ninja simply dismissed him, but Dr. Disrespect came back at Ninja a year later with an even
02:03more aggressive taunt about Ninja's decision to stream on multiple streaming services.

02:09"'If you have to multi-stream, that's because you're not good enough for one platform.'"
02:12Within minutes, Ninja went right for the doc's throat, making fun of his infamous Twitch
02:16ban.
02:17Says the guy who can't stream on the biggest live-streaming platform at the moment
02:21Tyler1 is best known for playing League of Legends and trash-talking his opponents, so
02:25you'd think he and Dr. Disrespect might bond over their common approach to gaming.
02:28Instead, they found a way to go after each other.
02:31In a clip that's become famous among fans, Dr. Disrespect made a quip about Tyler's height
02:36while showing off his CGI Champions Club set.
02:39"'This would pound Tyler1 right to the ground.
02:42If he's not… well, he's already pretty much at the ground.
02:45This guy's like 4'11.'"
02:48Tyler, who was initially laughing it up watching the stream, quickly changed his tune when
02:52he realized he was the butt of a joke.
02:54Over the years, the two have continually called one another out for their in-game performances.
02:58Dr. Disrespect has seemingly perfected an unflattering Tyler1 impression, while Tyler1
03:04cracked fans up by dressing up a vacuum cleaner as the Doc.
03:07Fans on social media have even debated who would prevail in an actual fight between them.
03:12Though he was one of Dr. Disrespect's closest allies for quite a while, Nick Merckx saw
03:16the reason behind the Doc's ban from Twitch was too much.
03:19Nick Merckx originally took a wait-and-see approach when the accusations first surfaced,
03:23but Beam's seeming admission led Nick Merckx to condemn his former friend.
03:27Some diehard Dr. Disrespect fans attacked Nick Merckx for his decision, but he wasn't
03:31having it.

03:33"'Dr. Disrespect' is married with children, pushing 40.
03:37Admits to texting a minor inappropriately.
03:40His words, not mine.
03:41So I cut ties, because obviously that's inexcusable.
03:44Now I'm a s**t friend for not having his back?
03:46Bunch of brain rot morons on this app."
03:49One of Dr. Disrespect's longest-standing controversies dates back to 2019, when he filmed a skit
03:54in a bathroom at that year's E3.
03:56Shooting video in a bathroom is against the law in quite a few places, and the bit earned
04:00the Doc a two-week suspension from Twitch.
04:02It also earned him a hilarious smackdown from Paladin Amber, who filmed a skit of her own
04:06at TwitchCon later in the year.
04:08I decided that last year, my second cousin, twice-removed Dr. Disrespect, didn't uphold
04:13the family name."
04:14In her Dr. Disrespect cosplay, Paladin Amber went out of her way to be incredibly respectful
04:19to everyone in attendance.
04:21She has permission before filming.
04:22She refused to let the cameras follow her into the bathroom.
04:25She basically did everything the Doc didn't do at E3.
04:28It was a clear shot at Dr. Disrespect and his particular brand of entertainment.
04:33The animosity between political commentator Hasan Piker and Dr. Disrespect dates back
04:38to at least 2023.
04:40The Call of Duty franchise had removed Nick Merckx's branded skin from Call of Duty Warzone
04:44after the streamer made some controversial statements about the LGBTQ plus community.
04:49Dr. Disrespect didn't appreciate that, so he uninstalled the game.
04:53Hasan watched the uninstalled play out on his own stream.
04:56He's more loyal to Nick Merckx having his skin than his own wife, I know."
05:02That jab was almost definitely a reference to Dr. Disrespect's TFL 2017 confession about
05:07cheating on his wife, Mrs. Assassin.
05:09The Doc didn't take kindly to Hasan's joke.
05:12According to Deserto, Dr. Disrespect said,
05:14"[Hasan wouldn't say these types of things if we are standing next to each other, because
05:18he knows there are repercussions.]
05:20Hasan just laughed off the Doc's threat, possibly because he knows the two aren't ever likely
05:24to meet face-to-face."
05:26Another former friend of Dr. Disrespect who cut ties in the wake of his Twitch ban scandal
05:30was Dr. Lupo.
05:31While Dr. Lupo had ridden out quite a few other controversies with his fellow doctor,
05:36the 2024 scandal went just too far.
05:38A few of Dr. Lupo's viewers called him out on stream for turning his back on his friend
05:42in the wake of the controversy.
05:44"...What the f----- do you expect, what?
05:47You should hold every person that you respect accountable for their mistakes."
05:51It seems pretty clear that's another bridge burned for the Doc.
