00:00More than 1,000 foreign POGO workers have not yet applied for a downgraded visa
00:05amid the ongoing banning of POGOs in the country, according to the DALG.
00:10Local officials have also raised their voices against the establishment of POGOs in their communities.
00:17Watch this, by Ivan Mayrina.
00:23The Local Government of Kawit-Kabiti inspected this POGO hub earlier.
00:27One of the people who stopped the operation was President Bongbong Marcos who ordered the cancellation of POGOs in the country in 2025.
00:33On December 15, 10 o'clock a.m., we will personally lead the closure of the POGO hub.
00:44There is no license for the establishment of January 1, 2025.
00:54So if anyone will say that they are continuing to look for a job or their operation because they have a valid PAG-COR license, that is not true.
01:10According to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation of PAG-COR,
01:1342 internet gaming licensees and 18 service providers have licenses declared by President Marcos in his area.
01:20POGOs are now being banned.
01:23Currently, only seven are left operating.
01:25All licenses will be cancelled by the end of December 15, 2025.
01:30According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of PAOC,
01:33everyone who will operate without a license will be arrested.
01:36It is expected that the ban on POGOs will be lifted.
01:40Guerrilla POGOs or smaller operations will be shut down.
01:43More than 100 rogue POGOs are currently being inspected by PAOC.
01:48They are former POGO workers who worked together to create a small POGO hub or POGO operation in a house.
01:56It can be in an apartment or in a resort.
02:00PAOC is currently working on four such operations.
02:03There is one in Mimaropa and there is also one in a resort owned by an official in Gawing Norte,
02:09who claimed to be an LGU.
02:12He reported that a group of Chinese, about 1,000 Chinese, will enter his area.
02:18They have already brought their equipment.
02:20It was packed in one place and it was driven by the local government.
02:26They planned it.
02:28They got the equipment.
02:30It is now with them.
02:32It means that they are really moving away from Metro Manila.
02:36The DILG will order the local chief executives to monitor their areas to ensure that no illegal POGOs can operate in their area.
02:46If not, they can intervene and file a complaint, just like what happened to former Mayor Alice Guo.
02:54According to the DILG, more than 1,000 foreign POGO workers have not applied for a visa downgrade.
03:00Twenty Filipinas were pregnant with POGO workers
03:04where their husbands were repatriated back to their countries and never applied to come back here.
03:09For GMA Integrated News, Ivan Mayrena, your Saksi.
