00:00This week the Edinburgh Evening News is in Denmark for Hearts Youth, a conference league
00:05tie with FG Copenhagen on Thursday at the Parking Stadium.
00:10The conditions are pretty decent at the moment, dry, certainly chilly, but there's no real
00:15wind, there's no real problems with the elements that should affect Hearts on Thursday.
00:19We're speaking now on Wednesday afternoon, just a little over 24 hours before kick-off.
00:24Hearts are due to arrive in the Danish capital very shortly and we'll have a walk round the
00:29stadium tonight with press conferences to come as well.
00:33Now Copenhagen are in extremely good form, they're a top 1 team in the UEFA Conference
00:38League, Hearts are a top 4, so nobody needs to explain to them just what kind of task
00:44this is for Hearts, just how difficult it's going to be.
00:47Some of the players that they've got at their disposal are experienced international players,
00:52Viktor Klasen, the number 10, is extremely intelligent, Winger, El-Younoussi, Mohamed
00:58El-Younoussi, who played for Celtic, so he's obviously a big danger, Brazilian winger on
01:02the other side, Robert, is very skilful, very quick and can cause a lot of trouble.
01:08So Hearts have got two midfielders as well, Rasmus Falk and Thomas Delaney, Delaney is
01:13obviously well known, he's a mainstay of the Danish national team.
01:16So it's an extremely difficult game for Hearts I think, the second last of their six conference
01:23league matches and one that they will do very well to pick up something I think they would
01:27be capable of coming here and getting a draw, but they'd need probably quite a lot of things
01:31to work in their favour.
01:33There's a fair number of supporters milling around the city, I haven't seen too many down
01:38here, we're down at Nehaven as you can probably see in the background, a very picturesque
01:43and stereotypical setting if you like your Instagram background, this is the place to
01:48be.
01:49And I've seen a couple of Hearts fans milling around but a lot of them are further on inside
01:54the city centre preparing for what will be a game that they'll enjoy, I think they'll
02:01enjoy Parking Stadium, it's one of these tight-knit grounds, I think capacity is 38,000, bigger
02:09than Tyne Castle but similar kind of acoustics, the noise level will be pretty intense I think
02:15in there come kick-off on Thursday evening.
02:18So a difficult match but should be a good occasion for everyone involved and fingers
02:23crossed that Hearts can get a result and potentially take a step towards the knockout
02:29play-off rounds of the Conference League.
